Welcome to the Lambda Chi Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta! We are glad you are interested in Greek Life at the College of Charleston and have taken the opportunity to visit our website. As Fiji gentlemen, we strive to live by our fundamental values of service, knowledge, friendship, morality, and excellence. These values are apparent in all areas of our beloved chapter.

As Fijis, we believe in the ultimate goal of achieving excellence, both for ourselves and for our fraternity. This is demonstrated by our collective achievements as a chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. This year our chapter had the exciting experience of winning the Greek Life “Chapter of the Year 2010” award. We also won Greek Week for the second year in a row this year. We compete in nearly all intramural sports and have championships in both Softball and Soccer. Our brothers are also very active on campus, being involved in over 70 different organizations on campus and holding leadership positions in many of these organizations.

Friendship is one of our most important values. Phi Gamma Delta holds that, “Friendship is the sweetest influence.” Friendship is also a key aspect to our relationships as brothers and college peers. In order to further this bond within our fraternity, we have many brotherhood events throughout the year, ranging anywhere from beach bonfires to poker nights. Our special events are always a favorite, and we plan on having many events including a mountain weekend as well as sailing trips this year. We host many social events throughout the semester including mixers with different Greeks on campus as well as date parties. This year we will also have our first annual Fiji Islander Party as well as our first Norris Pig Dinner!

Service is a large part of our involvement in the Charleston community. Last year, we completed over 1000 community service hours collectively. We strive to host several service projects each semester, in which we give back to the surrounding community while growing closer as brothers.

We also believe in the principle of knowledge. Our brothers are academically motivated, while still living a well balanced lifestyle. Since our founding, we have held the highest GPA amongst all fraternities on campus, currently placing 4^th among all Greek organizations on campus. We offer five different scholarships to both our brothers and pledges, to encourage their pursuit of knowledge. Our pledges are even offered a $250 scholarship if they maintain a 3.0 GPA during their pledging semester.
